Microecological Preparation Development

Microecological preparation development

Microecological preparation is a live additive made by using the normal microorganisms of the intestine to adjust the microecological balance of the body. It improves the intestinal micro-ecological environment of livestock and poultry through the role of dominant flora and biological antagonism, which has the advantages of being safe, green, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and non-polluting.

Microecological preparations can supplement the normal microorganisms lacking in the intestinal tract of livestock and poultry in terms of quantity or species, adjust and maintain the intestinal microecological balance, enhance the immunity of livestock and promote the digestion and absorption of nutrients. Lifeasible can develop non-toxic, non-side effect, residue-free, high-quality, new microecological preparations according to the needs of customers.

The types of microecological formulations we can develop

Types Components
Probiotics Lactic acid bacteria, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, mold, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Bacillus natto, Pediococcus acidilactici, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida utilis, Aspergillus.
Prebiotics Monosaccharides, oligosaccharides (lactose, sucrose oligosaccharides, raffino oligosaccharides), chitosan, herbal preparations.
Synbiotics The mixture of probiotics and prebiotics.

Development method and process

  • We use selective culture, Gram staining, physiological and biochemical test, sugar fermentation test, and acid and bile salt tolerance tests to isolate and identify the target strains, such as Lactobacillus with strong acid and bile salt tolerance, from the intestines of healthy animals.
  • The medium composition and culture conditions of the isolated target strains were then optimized using the single-factor test method and orthogonal test method.
  • To improve the storage resistance and survival rate of the prepared microecological preparations when passing through the gastrointestinal tract, we used microencapsulation to make microcapsules of the target strains, spray drying to make bacteriological powder from the fermentation broth of the target strains, and vacuum freeze-drying to make bacteriological powder from the target strains.

Development program

  • Screening of strains for specific diet types and specific animals. We have developed a series of biocides for our customers that are suitable for pigs, chickens, ducks, and aquatic animals.
  • Screening for strains with special applications. These include strains that produce pigment (to promote coloration of poultry skin and chicken yolk), strains that produce phytase (to improve the utilization of phosphorus in feed and reduce environmental pollution), strains that stimulate the growth and activity of fiber-degrading bacteria (for foraging low coarse feed) and strain with the strong deodorizing ability (to reduce the pollution of the environment by manure and improve the feeding environment).
  • Encapsulation technology. We are actively looking for efficient, cheap, and non-toxic coating materials and optimizing the coating process to wrap strains with poor tolerance but good other characteristics.

The microecological preparation, as a live bacterial preparation, can supplement the number of beneficial bacteria, inhibit harmful bacteria and form a dominant flora after entering the intestinal tract of animals. It also plays an important role in the micro-ecological balance of the animal intestine by regulating the intestinal pH value. Lifeasible can perfectly mix customer-specified additive components with micro-ecological formulations to obtain new micro-ecological formulations to improve livestock performance, enhance immunity, and increase breeding efficiency.
