  • We first obtain strains with high yields of the target active ingredient through compound mutagenesis. Further primary and secondary screening is performed to obtain mutant strains with good active ingredients and stable genetic performance.
  • If your target active ingredient is antibacterial, then we will conduct an antibacterial test for the extracted and isolated active ingredient to prove its significant antibacterial effect.
  • The extract is then analyzed by Tricine-SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis to detect the molecular weight of the active substance contained in that extract.
  • The crude extract was separated and purified using silica gel column chromatography and macroporous adsorbent resin to obtain a single fraction, and its antibacterial activity was detected.
  • The purified fraction was further analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to detect the content of the fraction.
  • Finally, the main components were identified by Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) analysis and data comparison.
