Organic acid | The content and composition ratio of organic acids are important indicators for determining the fermentation characteristics and evaluating the quality of feeds and fertilizers, therefore, we established a solution for organic acids in feeds and fertilizers. We used a ProElut PSA solid-phase extraction column with aqueous hydrochloric acid solution elution. It simplifies the pre-treatment steps, reduces the experimental cost, saves a lot of time, and reduces the interference of impurities with a recovery of more than 80%. Afterward, we used high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to construct a standard curve for the determination of the organic acid content of feed and fertilizer samples. |

We usually use the direct drying method and reduced pressure drying method to determine the moisture content in feed and fertilizer samples.
