Soybean Meal Fermentation Services

Soybean meal is a by-product obtained after soybean oil extraction. Compared with other oilseed cake meals, soybean meal not only has a high crude protein content, and the amino acid composition is more in line with the amino acid needs of livestock and poultry. It is the most important plant-based protein raw material for livestock and poultry. However, the presence of a variety of antinutritional factors in soybean meal, including trypsin inhibitory factor, soybean antigenic protein, oligosaccharides, and phytic acid, limits the application of soybean meal in animal feed.

Soybean and soybean meal

To meet the demand for high-quality plant-based protein ingredients in response to the increased price of animal-based protein ingredients, Lifeasible offers our customers services related to microbial fermentation of soybean meal. The aim is to eliminate anti-nutritional factors in soybean meals and to make fuller use of fermented soybean meals for feed applications.

During the microbial fermentation process, microorganisms produce hydrolytic enzymes that eliminate anti-nutritional factors from soybean meal, thereby improving digestion and absorption levels in animals and reducing nutrient loss from soybean meal. In addition, microbial fermentation produces probiotics for animal intestinal improvement, reducing the use of antibiotics and other aspects that have significant effects.

  • Strains (combination application)
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Bacillus subtilis Lactobacillus fermentum Streptococcus thermophilus
Bacillus natto Lactobacillus casei Aspergillus niger
Bacillus badius Candida utilis

We optimized the process conditions of solid-state fermentation of soybean cypress complex using microbial strains with soybean meal as the main raw material. It can be dried to make protein feedstuff. We can also optimize the process conditions for the fermentation of soybean meal with single bacteria. Based on the single-factor test, the fermentation process was optimized using a four-factor, three-level (L9) orthogonal test with three replicates at each level, using the content of small peptides of fermentation products as the index.

Advantages

  • Improve the digestive condition of animals and reduce the occurrence of diarrhea.
  • Break down the anti-nutritional factors in soybean meal to improve its nutritional utilization value.
  • Ensure the growth and development of feeding animals, and reduce the cost of animal protein feeding.
  • Improve feed utilization and promote animal growth.

Fermented soybean meal is a new type of biological feed, has no added antibiotics, has low anti-nutritional factors, and is rich in probiotics, lactic acid, and other nutrients. Lifeasible provides microbial fermentation services for fermented soybean meal research and feed improvement to help you accelerate your project and capture the market as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us, we look forward to working with you.
