Description:	Fibres are predominantly selected from grasses to create an effective rumen base. The fibres come from areas with low potassium content, with the aim of controlling the Anion-Cation Balance (D-CAD), the reference principle for the correct management of calcium metabolism during the delicate peripartum phase. Particular care is taken in the processing of the fibre: it is specially sized to suit the stage and characteristics of the animals. This ensures maximum ingestibility and counteracts the animals’ natural tendency to take up the ration by selecting the parts they like best.
